Vizuálne programovanie umožňuje vytvárať skripty alebo postupnosti príkazov pomocou interaktívneho skladania a prepájania grafických objektov predstavujúcich elementárne operácie, filtre, transformácie. Cieľom práce je vytvoriť nástroj na vizuálne programovanie pre účely interaktívnej analýzy viacrozmerných dát. Predmetom práce nie je výskum analytických metód ani zložitá implementácia analytických algoritmov. Dôraz je kladený na vzájomne prepájanie jednotlivých krokov analýzy, vytváranie postupností krokov, rozvetvovanie postupností a iné.

Visual programming allows to create scripts or sequences of commands by interactive composition and linking of graphical objects, each representing a particular elementary operation, filter or transformation. Goal of this project is to create a tool for visual programming of interactive analysis of multidimensional data. It is not the subject of this topic to extensively study data analysis or analytical algorithms. The subject is the composition and linking of different analysis steps, creating scripts, forking the data flow etc.
