A plug-in for an instant messaging program that visualizes the conversation in an aesthetic way. Student will develop a visually pleasing form of graphical representation plus design a focus+context based navigation within the chat history.  Additionally, the program will allow to combine multiple histories into one visualization thus allowing for comparison of different chat flows or keyword-based message filtering. Alternatively, the program can be implemented as a standalone application where the input is a chat history stored in a file.

(Zadanie bakalárskej práce, naspäť na zoznam bakalárskych prác)

Matej Novotný

A plug-in for an instant messaging program that visualizes the conversation in an aesthetic way. Student will develop a visually pleasing form of graphical representation plus design a focus+context based navigation within the chat history. Additionally, the program will allow to combine multiple histories into one visualization thus allowing for comparison of different chat flows or keyword-based message filtering. Alternatively, the program can be implemented as a standalone application where the input is a chat history stored in a file.

This topic can be extended to a master thesis upon successful completion.
