Guarantor and coordinator is Prof. Ing. Igor Farkaš, Dr.

To pass the program, a student must:

  1. acquire at least 120 credits
  2. pass all compulsory (including compensatory) courses and the required numbers of optional courses. These courses must cover at least 70% of all credits during the study.
  3. present the results of the semester project (end of first year) and of the diploma thesis at the student conference within the consortium
  4. acquire 30 credits during mobility, i.e. one semester spent at a partner university within the MEiCogSci consortium
  5. pass the state examination and successfully defend a master thesis (registration for the state examination is possible only after the above mentioned points are satisfied)

In addition, the student should comply with the following regulations:

The purpose of the compensatory courses is to compensate for the handicap in the knowledge required to get enrolled in the program. A bachelor with informatics background will register for 2-IKV-111 and 2-IKV-116. A bachelor with non-technical background will register for 2-IKV-102 and 2-IKV-105. Each student will register for 2-IKV-304, except for the students who passed this course (or similar) as part of their bachelor studies. A bachelor who graduated in a different area usually registers for all compensatory courses, unless he passed some of them (or its equivalent), in which case s/he should contact the guarantor of the programme who will decide on potential recognition of the compensatory courses.

Here is the list of courses for the programme which you can also find in the [information system of the University | https://ais2.uniba.sk/ais/start.do].
