Guarantor and coordinator is Prof. Ing. Igor Farkaš, Dr.

To pass the program, a student needs to:

  1. acquire at least 120 credits
  2. pass all compulsory courses and the required number of optional courses. These courses must cover at least 70% of all credits during the study.
  3. present the results of the semester project (1st year) and of the diploma thesis (2nd year) at the student conference within the MEiCogSci consortium
  4. acquire 30 credits during compulsory mobility, i.e. one semester spent at a partner university within the MEiCogSci consortium
  5. pass the state examination and successfully defend the master's thesis (registration for the state examination is possible only after the above mentioned points are satisfied)

In addition, the student should comply with the following regulations:

The purpose of the compensatory courses (block B) is to compensate for the handicap in the knowledge required to get enrolled in the program. A bachelor with informatics background will register for 2-IKVa-111/18 and 2-IKVa-116/18. A bachelor with non-technical background will usually register for 2-IKVa-102/20 and 2-IKVa-105/20. A bachelor who graduated in a different area usually registers for all compensatory courses, unless he passed some of them (or its equivalent), in which case s/he should contact the guarantor of the programme who will decide on the recognition of the compensatory courses.

Here is the list of courses for the programme which you can also find in the information system of the University.
