Panel: Today and Tomorrow in Knowledge Modularity, Contextuality, and Evolution
Monday 29 October 2018 16:50, Room: Lapaz
Topic
Current trends, e.g. in linked open data and knowledge graphs, show that ever more massive data sets are created, maintained, and used in applications. With their expansion, the questions of modularity, contextual grounding, end evolution of these knowledge bases became ever more pressing.
What is the current state of the art in these areas? How does the research community currently react on these trends? What are the foreseen future directions? The panelists will reflect on these questions.
We will pass this question in three rounds, concentrating first on modularity, then on contextuality, and finally on evolution of knowledge.
