The semester project can, but does not have to, to continue in the extended form within the master thesis. For the project, you can form couples and work together on the same topic, e.g. looking at the same phenomenon from two different angles. appropriately sharing the work load. You need to discuss this with potential mentor (supervisor) and the tutor.

* Master thesis: according to the curriculum, the student is supposed to intensively work on it during the 4th semetra, but the topic and the intended work have to be specified earlier - before the registration for the second year. The topic for master thesis may be inspired by the semester project proektom, ako aj mobilitou počas 3. semestra. V súvislosti s DP je nutné mať na pamäti prvok interdisciplinarity, t.j. že na študovaný fenomén je nutné pozrieť sa z pohľadu aspoň dvoch disciplín.

The topic for master thesis may be inspired by the semester project or by the mobility. For the thesis, it is important to incorporate the feature of interdisciplinarity, i.e. looking at the studied phenomenon from the viewpoint of at least two disciplines.

* Mobility: Keep in mind that is is obligatory to spend one semester (by default, the third) at a foreign university within consortium, ktorá je súčasťou konzorcia! Niektorí študenti dokonca v rámci výmenného programu urobia väčšinu svojej diplomovej práce pod vedením expertov v laboratóriu, ktoré navštívia.

* Selecting diploma thesis: Please find the time and the efforts to talk with the different teachers about the theses topics they offer. Often, the thesis are published long time before you need to select your topic, and learning early about your options will help you in selecting the right thesis. Same as with the bachelor thesis: your adviser is the most important person of the project after you.

* Please remember that it is your duty to spend a semester at a foreign institution through Erasmus programme. Some students even manage to make most of their thesis in some excellent laboratory of a foreign institution under supervision and with hints of the local experts.
