Short description:
This lecture provides students with the mathematical foundations of computer science. Students will acquire the “mathematical culture”  basic mathematical language and way of thinking, as well as elementary proof methods.
Offered in these study programs: Obligatory in Bachelor program in Applied Informatics
Recommendations: This is one of the difficult courses, where some percentage of the students usually fails, therefore: pay enough attention to preparation!
