Representing abstract infovis structures in graphical linked view environments (RAISING LIVE)

(master thesis topic, back to master thesis topics)

Matej Novotný

Multidimensional data is often analysed in a linked view environment where different views are occupied by different visualization techniques and the same data is observed from various perspectives. The linkage between these views is so far bound almost solely to selection (focus), i.e. items selected in one view are highlighted in the others as well. The goal of this work is to develop a paradigm for linking abstract structures as well, such as multidimensional clusters.
