Short description:

Students will get experience from different phases of the information system lifecycle. The main focus is on support and maintenance. The course is a follow-up on Information Systems Development course. Students will work with projects that were specified, designed and developed by other student groups. Their goal will be to satisfy some of the new requirements of the stakeholders. This will require studying the technical documentation of the project, learning about its implementation, and being able to make the changes in a stable manner, i.e. having in mind all the goals and principles of software design and clean code. In addition, the course may contain some invited lectures given by practitioners from industry.
